The Ruins Behind Rush State Park Page

BACK

Hidden back along the trails that streatch from the end of Benjamin Rush State Park is a small group of buildings - shells really. The first structure is made of stone, maybe three floors high and clearly the oldest of the bunch. The other buildings are smaller and made of cinder blocks, suggesting much later construction.

There's not much to explore there, everything's mostly grown over with underbrush, but since any abandoned building is a good abandoned building, it was worth taking a few pics...

These two views show the first and oldest structure, including a view looking out the loading dock in the center of the side wall...

a cinder block wall that more or less connects two buildings.

And of course the obligatory dope refrence.
